Housed in a reconstructed 1866 West Pier toll booth; one of a pair that was returned to the seafront as part of the Brighton i360 site, this iconic structure is now home to a cosy café and its suntrap terrace. Read more about the building’s fascinating history here.

Throughout the winter months, the Tollbooth Café & Bar offers a refuge from the windy seafront, relax on the sofas whilst enjoying a hot drink and cake. With local art adorning the walls and friendly staff, it offers the same neighbourhood welcome to all who walk through the doors.
