Did you know the last coronation of a British monarch, Queen Elizabeth II, took place 70 years ago? Although the ceremony has remained largely unchanged for over 1,000 years, the way Brits across the country will choose to celebrate the Coronation of King Charles III and Queen Consort Camilla will certainly look a lot different to 1953.

Whether you’re a royalist through and through or are just chuffed to have an extra day off in May (fingers crossed for a spot of sunshine), we’ve rounded up the best ways to make the most of the Coronation Bank Holiday in Brighton:

Enjoy our Coronation Cream Tea at West Beach Restaurant (5th – 8th May)
