Looking for the best things to do on a day out in Brighton with friends?
There are loads of things to see and do in Brighton. We’ve put together a pocket guide of our top things to do during a day out in the city with a group of friends.
Morning:
Meet up with friends at Brighton Station (serviced by Southern and Thameslink trains or if taking the car, you can park at the station all day).
Head down Trafalgar Street to grab a takeaway coffee and warm pastry from The Laine Deli, stopping by The Prince Albert pub to take an Instagram worthy selfie with the famous music mural and replica Banksy’s ‘Kissing Policeman’.
Then take a stroll through the North Laines, taking in its bohemian vibes, vintage shops and art galleries. For those secret Harry Potter fans, a visit to Brighton’s award-winning wizarding shop Olivers is a must!
Then head over North Street into Brighton’s newest luxury shopping quarter, Hannington Lane and the East Lanes for a spot of window shopping. Check out the spectacular Alice mural, created by the insanely talented Eelus.
Lunch:
Refuel at Shelter Hall Raw, on Brighton beach, the UK’s first socially distanced food hall. This brand new addition to the seafront; housed in the renovated iconic heritage building, Shelter Hall; serves fresh, local, artisan produce with a lively atmosphere and a festival vibe.
Afternoon:
Take a stroll along the seafront path and stop for a drink at the famous Brighton Music Hall. It’s time to soak up the sun, live music and electric Brighton atmosphere.
Then head to BA i360 and escape to the sky for the ultimate Brighton experience. Take in the magnificent 360-degree view across Brighton, the South Downs and, on the clearest days, all the way to the Isle of Wight. Enjoy the view with a glass of Nyetimber Sparkling Wine and take a pose for your new profile picture (check out our Instagram for some caption inspiration).
