Harvey’s has been brewing traditional ales among the cobbled streets of Lewes for more than 200 years, using South Downs spring water and the finest local raw ingredients.
Harveys’ brewer Edmund Jenner will welcome guests to the Food and Ale Pairing Evening with a fascinating talk about the history of the brewery and the brewing process. During the meal, he will help bring the flavours alive by giving detailed tasting notes for each ale.
The three-course menu celebrates local Sussex ingredients, and each course is served with a different Harvey’s ale.
Local producers showcased on the evening include Flour Pot Bakery from Brighton and High Weald Dairy cheeses and meats from Horsted Keynes.
