Rocket Workshop Beach Front Terrace outside BA i360.
11am-12:30pm, 1pm-2:30pm, 3pm-4:30pm
Join Jon London, star of BBC’s Stargazing Live, who will be on hand to show your budding astronauts how to build their very own rocket! Over the 40 minutes workshop, you’ll be taught all about the fun science facts that make a rocket fly, then take part by building your very own rocket to take home. Try and beat the record of 120 meters in the air either in groups or by yourself. Afterwards, take your newly buzzing Buzz Lightyears up our giant spaceship and see if they can spot how the pod manages to take off to 138 meters in the pre-boarding exhibition.

Pirate Crutcher Reading

Adapted from the best-selling picture book, Captain Purplebeard and his crew set off to find an island packed with treasure! And they want to tell you all about it.
This exclusive half-term event will see the crew from The Old Market Theatre’s ‘The Pirate Cruncher’ board the British Airways i360 Viewing Tower and recall their hilarious and exciting story of when they set sail for treasure. Their greed leads them not only into some monstrously big trouble, but on a wild goose chase!
Winner of the Waterstone’s Children’s Book Prize, this exciting, hilarious and comically gruesome tale of pirates, monsters and the ingenuity of one small girl is family theatre at its finest and silliest – a treat for children and adults alike. At 450ft and with the view of the sea in the background, this adventurous tale will be storytime like no other.

Pumpkins on the Pod
All-day event.
Take a flight in our giant pumpkin this Halloween weekend and see our spooktacular display of decorated pumpkins onboard British Airways i360 Viewing Tower. Carved by local school children and artists, these Jack o Lanterns will be sure to entertain and delight your little ones, and hopefully give you plenty of inspiration for some family fun carving at home.
If you would like to see your pumpkin displayed at BA i360 simply carve at home and drop to the restaurant at BA i360, Lower Kings Road, BN1 2LN by midday Wednesday 30th October. The competition features four age categories for ages 5–8, 9–11, 12–15 and over 16s, so the whole family can get involved. Each category will have two runners up prizes and one winner, these will be announced later in the afternoon on 30th October. One winner and two runner ups will be picked from each age category and win some fangtastic prizes!

Fly with Snowman
10.30, 11.30, 12.30 or 13.30 flights.
Join British Airways i360 as we team up with local children’s hospice charity, Chestnut Tree House to bring Raymond Brigg’s classic children’s book and animated film character to life. The Snowman himself will be flying high above Brighton’s skyline on the BA i360 pod on selected flights on the 2nd November.

Pocket Science Fair
11am-5pm
Held in the events space at British Airways i360 Viewing Tower, the Pocket Science Fair is a sure-fire way to educate children about all the magic of science with fun and interactive activities. With plenty of different stalls showcasing all the fun that science has to offer, they’ll find to find plenty to do and inspire. Tickets start at £4 and all attendees to the Pocket Science Fair will receive a 20% off voucher for BA i360 Viewing Tower, simply pick up a flyer or ask a member of the BA i360 team.
