Romantic New Year’s Eve Plans

Whether you’re planning the perfect proposal or sharing a romantic night out this New Year’s Eve, there are plenty of ways you can show the love whilst ringing in 2024.

Of course, it doesn’t get much more romantic than sharing a kiss at the top of the city skyline in the i360, but what else could you plan?

During the day, enjoy candyfloss and cuddle up with a sea view on Brighton Palace Pier. We think a fireside pub is always romantic, too, and there are plenty in Brighton including:

When it’s time for fireworks, buy a bottle of bubbles or a couple of hot chocolates and head to the beach for a great view and an electric atmosphere.

Plenty of Late Night Clubbing

New Year’s Eve nights out in Brighton are legendary. We’re a big party place, so don’t worry about finding late-night options if you want to dance until dawn.

There’s a lot of variety, too, with Volks Club offering a 12-hour long DJ session full of jungle and bass, No 32 serving decadent cocktails for a more lavish shindig, and PRZYM getting glowy with a UV event ideal for students and a younger crowd (18+ of course).

Our Sky Dining event finishes at 1am, so if you’re not finished with the night then you’ll be spoilt for choice.

Explore the Lanes

In the mood for some magical, wintery vibes? Then you absolutely have to head to the Brighton Lanes.

Split into two distinct sections (the Lanes and the North Laine) these eclectic streets are Brighton’s historic old town area and are a bustling, vibrant part of the city.

Hop from pub to pub, find some of the city’s best dining spots, and soak in the atmosphere as you wander through the coolest part of town.

For last-minute New Year’s Eve plans, we highly recommend heading down here to see where the night takes you.

The Vegan Capital

When it comes to things to do in Brighton on New Year’s Eve, you can’t forget about the food scene.

Whether you’re vegan, veggie, or open to trying a new culinary experience, Brighton is the vegan capital of the world.

You’ll find some of the tastiest, most innovative plant-based dishes right here in the city, from cauliflower wings and curries to bruschetta and burgers.

We also have a delicious vegan menu at the i360 Sky Dining Experience alongside our meat dishes, giving our fellow foodies plenty of choice.

Think Outside the Box

If you’re wondering what to do in Brighton on New Year’s Eve, you’ll be happy to know you’re in a city that thinks outside the box. Being unique is simply in our nature.

There are so many themed, immersive activities for an entirely different night out. Book a private booth at Lucky Voice Brighton for hilarious karaoke and drinks with your friends or sneak your drinks past the guards at Alcotraz: Cell Block One-Three for a prison speakeasy experience.

Komedia will be hosting a 70s-themed party, too, and for old-school game enthusiasts, you can let your competitive side come out at The World’s End, where booze and vegan food are the perfect pair to retro arcade games.
