With Halloween and October Half-term 2021 only a few weeks away, many of us will be looking for inspiration for some ghoulishly great family-friendly days out.
From pumpkin picking to craft workshops, outdoor adventure trails to fantastic pod flights above Brighton, we’ve rounded up our favourite spooktacular activities around Sussex that the whole family can enjoy together:
1) PYO Pumpkins at Tulley’s Farm
Whilst searching for the perfect squash at the local supermarket can be fun, there is nothing quite like the experience of popping on a pair of boots and going out into the fields of your local farm to pick your own. Most famously known for being the No.1 Halloween attraction in the UK for their fright nights, if you’re looking for something a bit tamer this Halloween Half-term, Tulley’s PYO experiences are just the ticket. Find your perfect ghourd by day or by twilight at one of their Pumpkin Nights!
PYO pumpkins until 31st October.
2) Drusillas Shriek Week
If you’re looking for a fun-filled family day out with a tamer spooky twist, Drusillas is just the place. With a haunted house, twisted terror maze, creepy crawly encounters and freaky face painting it’s a perfect introduction to the eerie delights of Halloween for kids.
Drusillas Shriek Week, Saturday 23rd -Sunday 31st October.
3) British Airways i360 Viewing Tower
Hang up those broomsticks and carve out some time to enjoy a different kind of flight this October. Fly up to 450ft to see Brighton’s best views in our giant glass viewing pod, which will be decked out in spooktacular decorations. After your flight, why not enjoy a spooky treat in our restaurant before heading into our event space to enjoy one of the many activities we have on for kids!
