English Wine Week is the perfect chance to discover the variety of delicious, complex, and often-overlooked wines that are produced right here in England. Most English wine producers come from the South East region with at least ten that are based here in Sussex, including our Sky Bar sponsor, Nyetimber.

Sussex Cheese and Wine Tasting Tour – Bolney Wine Estate
Cheese and wine, arguably a more iconic duo than French and Saunders. Bolney Wine Estate is here to help teach you their perfect wine & cheese pairings. Located just 35 minutes from Brighton, this guided tasting experience includes a tour of Bolney’s Sussex Vineyard and winery, before a tutored tasting of five of their award-winning English wines, brie-lliantly paired with delicious Sussex cheeses.

Vineyard Picnic – Albourne Estate
For a more alfresco wine-tasting experience near Brighton, soak up the summer sunshine with a picnic and English Wine amongst the vines of Albourne Estate’s family owned Sussex Vineyard, located just twenty minutes from Brighton. Visit their panoramic Tasting Room for a tasting flight, before picking up your wicker basket, filled to the rafters with locally sourced goodies from around Sussex and strolling along their self-guided trail of the eighteen-acre vineyard to find your perfect picnic spot.
